How long is the tour and how far do we have to walk?

What is included in the tour?

The tour will have from six to seven dishes depending on availability on the night. All costs include all food and drink (including beer) and your foodie guide.

Are there toilets on the tour?

While  there will be a toilet available at all times, be prepared that a few of the stops will not have a typical “western” toilet but a “squat” toilet.

Is the food safe to eat?

We have chosen partner establishments with good hygienic standards while maintaining authentic tastes. However, if you are worried about the hygiene of the establishment, please let our guide know and they will find you an alternative dish from a different establishment.

What if I’m a vegetarian?

If you tell us in advance, we can adapt the tour and offer vegetarian tastings that meet your particular restrictions. If you are vegan, we can’t accommodate you.

What happens if it rains?

Our tours operate rain or shine. If it rains, we have rain parkas just in case.

Is it safe walking on the streets of Saigon?

Vietnam is a very safe city. However, it does have a problem with bag theft. We encourage our guests to bring the bare minimum out on tour to minimize the risk of any bag thefts. As a general rule, if it can’t fit in your pocket, don’t bring it on tour. However, if you do have items that need to be secured, our guide will carry a backpack to store your valuables.

Is the tour suitable for children?

We encourage families to come on tour with us. However, the sidewalks in Saigon can be quite bumpy for prams so we recommend any toddlers be carried in a baby carrier. We also offer discounts for young ones so please ask us for family rates.

What if I have food allergies?

Please let us know in advance of any food allergies. We have a full ingredient list of every dish on the tour to ensure the safest experience possible.

Can I arrange a private tour?

Definitely. Please let us know what you would like on your private tour and we will strive to accommodate your request. However, this will come with an extra surcharge depending on your request.

Is Street Foodies Saigon liable for any illness, injury or loss of property suffered by guests during the tour?
